Brentford Striker Ivan Toney will bring goals to Chelsea if he is signed in the summer window for £60 million

CHELSEA have spent some serious money over the last couple of transfer windows, but are lacking a striker that has the ability to score 20 goals a season, and Toney is reportedly the man that Mauricio Pochettino would like the board to sign in just a few months time.

And while Toney would provide a genuine goalscorig outlet, there has been fears that Brentford would be asking far too much money for a player that will have not played for eight months.

But according to many reports in the media over the past few months – Ivan Toney could cost no more than £80 million as he has not hit the form that manyt would have liked since returning form that football ban.

Reporter Iomie Stanley told IcFootballnews: ‘There is not really a better Premier League striker that would suit CHELSEA more than Ivan Toney right now.

‘The Blues have all the creative quality to scare alot of teams, but they simply do not have a striker that has the ability to score 20-30 goals a season, they simply havent.

‘The summer window will give them a chance to get some deals done and if they managed to get Toney ahead of their London rivals, it would be a fantastic signing for the Blues.

‘They have the money and they have the credibility to make him a Blue, they would be fools to not get a deal done that is for sure.’
