It has again been claimed that Chelsea target Kylian Mbappe has decided that he will be leaving PSG on a free deal in the summer window.
Mbappe has been in the transfer headlines all summer after he came out and revealed that he has no plans to agree a new contract at the club – and will leave when his current deal expires at the end of the season.
PSG only want players on the tour who are committed to the club and want to be at the club, and did intend to sell the Frenchman in the summer for a fee, but the attacker made the decision to stay and wait.
PSG are convinced Mbappe has already agreed to join Real Madrid on a free transfer next summer, but with the Spaniards unable to compete in the transfer market because of their financial issues, that gave the likes of CHELSEA to get a transfer deal done.
However – despite all the speculation and all the rumors – Mbappe is still a PSG player and a man that they are trying to tempt into signing a new contract to make him one of the highest paid players in world football.
WHAT IS THE LATEST –
But now Mbappe has told the club once again that he will not sign a new contract despite talks over an extension this summer, according to 90min. Mbappe is even willing to forego the €80 million (£69m/$86m) loyalty bonus he is due the club and will instead leave when his contract expires next year.
SHOULD CHELSEA SIGN THE MAN?
Look, Mbappe has no loyalties to the clubs he pays for – he goes where the money is and that is not what the Blues need right now.
He has an amazing amount of talent – but the Premier League is not the French league and that is why he wants a move to La Liga – there are a few great teams and then nothing.
Should CHELSEA sign the man? Probably not. He would bring far too many bad drama to the club
KEPA CLAIM MADE –
Kepa Arrizabalaga claims Mauricio Pochettino wanted him to stay at CHELSEA before his loan move to Real Madrid.
After the Spanish giants revealed that current number one Thibaut Courtois will be out of action for most of the season, the decision was made to sign Kepa on loan for the season.
the Spanish star has never really hit the heights that many had hoped for, but he has won the Champions League, Premier League and a number of other cups during his stay at Stamford Bridge.
Now he has opened up and Speaking to Marca, has revealed that Pochettino wanted him to stay at the club over the summer window and not depart for the Spaniards.
WHAT HAS BEEN SAID –
‘Yes, it was very fast,’ Kepa said in an interview with Marca about his move to Madrid.
‘It is true that at CHELSEA Pochettino wanted me to stay and he told me that I was going to play, that he trusted me, but I thought that a change would be good for me. I wanted a change.
‘Thomas Tuchel also called me and I was close to going to Bayern Munich. Due to circumstances such as the injury, unfortunately, of a teammate, the possibility arose.’

This is a great move for Kepa as he loves La Liga and to play for one of the biggest sides in the world – great move.
It will be interesting to see what happens when Courtois returns to the side from injury, as he is the number one and one of the best in the game, will Kepa still be happy about sitting on the bench every week?
But it also shows that Pochettino wanted a few players that were sold in the summer window, meaning the board made alot of unwanted transfer decisions.
FERGUSON NEXT BIG SIGNING?
Chelsea have been backed to complete a deal for the highly-exciting Brighton striker Even Ferguson.
The 18-year-old netted ten goals in 24 appearances last season, which earned him a new long-term deal on the south coast. But Ferguson’s hit four goals in four appearances already this campaign, including a hat-trick against Newcastle last weekend.
That has led to many reports in the media that the Chelsea board are now looking to splash another £100 million to try and secure a transfer deal for the striker, as they seek to bolster that front line in the coming windows.
Owen Hargreaves even tipped the man to make a move to Chelsea – he appeared on ‘The Kelly & Wrighty Show‘ and said: “That was against the best defence in the Premier League last season. Dan Burn looked very worried about Ferguson.”
“I like the fact that all three goals were different. The first one was an easy one, he was in the right spot. The second was a great goal. He’s a bit of an old school centre-forward, he’s got that physical profile.”
“Probably CHELSEA,” he said when asked about the Irishman’s future, adding: “because they buy all of Brighton’s players”

There is no doubt that the lad has the potential to develop into one of the very best strikers in the Premier League, he has all the attributes to make a real difference for Brighton at the moment.
If he makes the right career choices, if he keeps his feet on the ground, if he keeps working and if he joins the right club when he leaves Brighton – then yes, he will be a £100 million signing for somebody.
There are alot of ‘IF’S surrounding his name – but he is certainly a player that CHELSEA will be very interested in signing.
