Imcoming arrival to have big impact at Arsenal after move revealed

Goal journalist Charles Watts believes ARSENAL ‘s new signing Jurrien Timber could have the same impact as Oleksandr Zinchenko.

Over the past few weeks there has been alot of transfer speculation regarding the players that Mikel Arteta are looking to bring into the Emirates – and Timber has been a man that the Spaniard has really been impressed with.

The Dutchman has really been making a name for himself over the past few seasons with Ajax – and is a player that Mikel Arteta reportedly has been plans for when he comes to London.

Now – amid all the speculation – Watts has claimed that Timber could have the same kind of impact at the club as Zinchenko – who arrived from Man City last season and make a big impact at the club.

WHAT HAS BEEN SAID – 

“From what I understand from people who were pretty close to him, he is so excited about Arsenal,” he told Teamtalk.

“It’s always only been Arsenal for him this summer. It’s just been a case of the clubs agreeing the fee and Ajax have held out for as much as they can get. Everyone’s happy with the deal.

“Arsenal are getting a very, very exciting player in Timber who potentially could have as big of an impact on them this coming season as Zinchenko had last season.”

WILL TIMBER BE A GOOD SIGNING?

Timber has been impressive over the past few seasons and although he may lack a bit of height and power – he is certainly a player that could make a big impact at the Emirates.

And for the money that ARSENAL are reportedly paying – he will be more than welcome by the Gunners fans.
