Werner leaving Chelsea ahead of £150 million signing? Defender looking to help Chelsea after arriving from giants and Tuchel told target will cost £100m
Rice price has been set, Haaland to come in and Werner to leave, Sarr makes Chelsea claim in top Chelsea news….
West Ham midfielder Declan Rice is worth £100million – especially after his Euro 2020 performances, former Hammer Carlton Cole believes.
Now the transfer window has been open for a while now but Chelsea fans have not seen too many transfers get announced, with the only real business players departing Stamford Bridge
But there are alot of rumours that Declan Rice is a player that Chelsea are still interested in.
Former Chelsea boss Frank Lampard was thought to be a big admirer of the England man with it also being reported that his replacement Thomas Tuchel had renewed the club’s interest
The Hammers are demanding £100million for his services and and Cole, who played for both West Ham and Chelsea, believes he is worth that fee following his exceptional displays at Euro 2020 for the Three Lions.
He told talkSPORT: “Every time he kicked a ball in the Euros, I was like: ‘His price has gone up!’
“He’s becoming more and more desirable and for me, he’s a top, top player – we all know that at West Ham.
“He’s proved himself there and been under the mentorship of a great West Ham legend in Mark Noble.
“He [Noble] hasn’t had any caps for England but been a great model pro. Rice has been working under his tutelage and learning the ropes in how to be a leader on the pitch.
“He’s got the qualities of a centre-midfielder, but he can play as a centre-back as well. All it is with Declan is that he needs games at the highest level.”
Asked whether he was worth £50m, Cole responded: “I’m going double that. In this day and age that is.
“He’s so valued by West Ham and an integral part of this West Ham outfit.
“If you start selling your best players then you’ll be in trouble.”
Chelsea defender Malang Sarr is determined to ‘help the team to the top’.
Sarr arrived at Chelsea with a promising reputation from Nice back in August 2020 but was immediately sent on a season-long loan to Porto last term, where he made 19 appearances for the Portuguese giants
However, Sarr will have been desperate to make a good impression as he joined up with his Chelsea team-mates for pre-season training this month, and Having trained under Thomas Tuchel in pre-season, he told Chelsea’s official website: “It’s a pleasure to be here, starting to work, we are working very hard and very well so I’m happy. I have enjoyed being here.
“I have spoken a little bit with the manager, he knows I speak French so we have been talking. I have a good feeling here; everybody is very good with me. I can feel everybody is ambitious here.
“They want to work and they really want us to give the best every day, and that’s a good thing because that’s how I see things. I really want to work hard every day and try to improve in every aspect.”
He then added: “I hope to join the team and help the team to the top.
“They finished the season as Kings of Europe. I’m here to help and to let the team stay at the highest level, trying to bring all the good energy and my work to the team.
“I know the club is ambitious and I am ambitious as well, so it’s a perfect match.”
Sarr is a very gifted defender that could save Chelsea millions this summer, so it will be interesting to see how he develops under Tuchel.
Chelsea are preparing to offload forward Timo Werner this summer, to help in their bid to prise £150million Erling Haaland away from Borussia Dortmund this summer.
It is no secret that Chelsea are very keen on adding a striker to that attack this summer, and there has been much speculation in media that Haaland is the number on transfer target Haaland
Having made a name for himself over at Borussia Dortmund, Haaland is now one of the very best, most dangerous, and most sought after players in world football and he is constantly in the headlines.
It has been reported recently that Roman Abramovic has even released funds in order to get a deal done, believing that the German outfit will allow Haaland to leave for a fee of around £150 million.
Now Sky Sport Germany are reporting that Werner is not a primary candidate to be moved on this summer, but Chelsea are prepared to do whatever it takes to land the Norwegian star.
They are also reporting that the Blues could potentially try and include the ex-RB Leipzig man in a swap deal for the Dortmund striker.
Look, football is all about the money, so if Chelsea offer the right amount of money, Dortmund will have to accept as they risk losing their star man for just £69 million next summer
Werner is a very highly-rated striker that is not built for the Premier League or to lead this Chelsea attack, Haaland is. So if the reports are true and Chelsea are seeking to let Werner leave, it would be a very good decision from the squad.
This is a rumour that fans are very interested in and it will be very interesting to see how this develops over the next few months
