Kostic fee has been set – West Ham agree fee for Onana – Zielenski interest is there in West Ham news roundup –

West Ham have ‘asked for’ Napoli attacking midfielder Piotr Zielinski this summer – the fans have been told

David Moyes is continuing to spend some money this transfer window and keep on adding players to the side that will give West Ham more of chance of challenging for the Champions League

They have just completed the signing of giant striker Gianluca Scamacca – who arrives after an impressive season in Seria A – and are in deep talks to sign Filip Kostic from the Bundesliga.

Recent reports in the media claimed that the club are eyeing up an ambitious move to try and sign Zielenski – the highly rated Napoli midfielder that is being chased by some top clubs

It has been claimed on Calcio Napoli 24 – West Ham have made their moves to try and get a deal done and submitted a £25 million offer to bring him to the Premier League this summer – but it is believed the Italians want more

Now – Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has opened up and claimed West Ham have in fact enquired about Zielinski but that it will not be ‘an easy’ deal to complete.

In an interview with GMS, he said: “Zielinski is difficult because Napoli want at least €40 million (£33.5m).

“They have already lost many important players; Insigne, Koulibaly, many, many key players for the team and so Zielinski is absolutely not easy. It’s true that West Ham asked for him, but it’s not an easy one.”

Zielenski is a very good player that has played at the top level for quite some time now – but spending over £40 million for the player is alot of money

Hammers fans would love to see him make that move to London – but they will surely feel that anything more than £30 million is far too much money for the player

It will be interesting to see how this plays out

Kostic prise set –

West Ham have been told that they will need to pay more money if they wish to sign Filip Kostic this summer

Hammers boss David Moyes has done some good business this transfer window and added some depth to the squad that will improve their chances of getting another European place by the end of next season

But Moyes has not signed as many players that he would have liked by this stage of the transfer window and is hoping to do a couple of deals between now and the end of the summer – with Kostic a player that the club want

According to recent reports, West Ham have submitted a £15million bid for Eintracht Frankfurt star Kostic – and it was believed that the German side were ready to accept that amount of money

But there has been interest from other clubs over the past few weeks – which has bumped up the asking price for the defender – and TalkSport pundit Alex Crook has claimed that the Hammers will now need to pay more cash if they want to sign the star

Crook told GIVEMESPORT: “I think that the feeling in Germany is if he wants to go then Frankfurt won’t stand in his way.

“I think they want a bit more than West Ham’s initial offer but it’s not 100% guaranteed that he does want to go because obviously Frankfurt are in the Champions League and it would mean sacrificing that to drop into the Conference League.”

Only Thomas Muller and Lionel Messi have registered more assists than Filip Kostic in Europe’s top 5 leagues since August 2018

This is most certainly a deal that could be a real bargain – as Kostic has proven that he is more than capable of adding goals to the attack

And considering the Hammers have struggled in that department in recent seasons – Moyes would love to pull this off

Onana fee agreed –

West Ham have reported agreed a €40million fee with Lille for Amadou Onana – who looks set to complete a move to the club

So far this summer – fans have been relatively happy with the signings that David Moyes has managed to sign – as it brings experience and youth to the squad

However – the Hammers will need to carry on making transfer signings that will send statements to the rest of the Premier League that West Ham are here to play – especially if they want to get back into the European places next season

And according to recent reports in the media- the Hammers are really pushing to wrap up a deal for the 20-year-old powerhouse before the transfer window closes

football.london understands that the Hammers have now agreed a fee with the Ligue 1 club, which is worth around €40million including add-ons, with Onana now set to become West Ham’s fifth summer signing

Onana has a lot of talent and certainly a player that could improve that Hammers midfield – it will be interesting to see if the club can sign the man as they know that bigger clubs are keeping a very close eye

And the news that Lille accepted the fee is big news – as he is definitely a player that could add a bit more quality to that current midfield

There is plenty of time for the club to secure a transfer move – he will be a very good addition to that Hammers midfield guys if they actually manage to complete the transfer signing of the man

Hammers fans will be keeping a very close eye on this over the next few days
