Scott Minto has reacted to the rumours that West Ham could sign AC Milan star Fikayo Tomori this transfer window.

“Max Kilman is a player I like who has gone to one of my former clubs West Ham,” Minto said.

“I think he will be really good. There’s talk about Fikayo Tomori perhaps being linked there as well.

“If they got those two in playing together and a centre-forward, then for me, West Ham would be very, very good going forward.’

Initial discussions have highlighted a big gap in valuations.

‘West Ham would need the asking price to come down to pursue a deal. Summerville has entered the final two years of his contract.

‘West Ham also retain an interest in Aston Villa forward Jhon Duran and Villarreal’s Alexander Sorloth but no formal bids have been made for either yet.

‘Fulham are also showing initial interest in Summerville.’

WEST HAM CONTINUE TODIBO TALKS – 

It has been claimed that West Ham are still in talks to sign powerful defender Jean-Clair Todibo from Nice.

Todibo has been in the headlines alot over the past few months as there was alot of talk that Manchester United wanted to get a transfer deal done, but were unable to complete a move for the Nice star.

That meant that West Ham took up the chance to try and get a deal done for the powerful defender – but have were knocked back by the French giants until they had a fee agreed and have been working on getting a deal done.

However – Juventus then showed an interest in getting a deal done and are in talks with Nice about a move for the big man – and now amid all the speculation – Sky Sports News’ Dharmesh Sheth has given the Hammers fans an update.

He said: ‘West Ham are playing the waiting game on Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo. They’ve agreed a deal with Nice, but the player’s preference is Juventus – they remain in talks with the French club in their own deal.

‘West Ham looking at alternative targets including AC Milan’s Fikayo Tomori and RB Salzburg’s Oumar Solet. Interest remains in Southampton’s Kyle Walker-Peters with talks ongoing.

‘West Ham are also still deciding whether to make a formal bid for Manchester United right back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

‘United value him at around £15m though wages could be an issue. Both Wan-Bissaka and Walker-Peters are into the final year of their contract’
