West Ham fans told ‘i wouldnt be surprised’ to see World Cup heading star sign

Dean Jones has been reacting to West Ham United‘s interest in Villarreal attacker Boulaye Dia ahead of a possible January move
Now all West Ham fans know that David Moyes will be looking to splash some cash in the coming transfer window in order to get the clubs season back on track.
All the new faces that arrived in the summer have not helped the Hammers reach that next level – and they are sitting too far down in the Premier League from where they should be – as some of those new signings have not adjusted to the English game
And that has led to speculation in the media that West Ham will be looking at trying to sign Dia.
The Premier League outfit were linked with a move back in 2021 but were unable to get a transfer deal done – but they have been keeping a close eye and are reportedly now ready to make their move in January
Now – amid all the speculation Journalist Dean Jones has told GiveMeSport that he wouldn’t be surprised if a move materialised.
“West Ham have already got an interest in him. That wouldn’t totally surprise me if they were to become involved for him.”
The Hammers will get a chance to see Dia at the World Cup as he has been included in that Senegal squad
