West Ham ‘prepared to pay massive £15 million’ to secure deal for 10-goal star

West Ham are not prepared to pay a “staggering” £15m fee for Blackburn Rovers striker Ben Brereton Diaz,

West Ham spent some serious money in the summer transfer window trying to sign players that would make a difference to the side – but they simply havent adpated.

David Moyes side have struggled to keep goals out and also keep finding the back of the net – and West Ham may need to delve into that transfer kitty in order to get out of the mess that they are in right now

And that has led to suggestions by journalist Alan Nixon. that a move for Diaz could be on the table

He has managed to score 10 goals in 29 games in all competitions this season and is rated very highly by many clubs in the Premier League – so the Hammers know that they may need to move fast in order to get a deal done.

However – he could cost the club £15 million this January window and West Ham feel that he may not be worth that amount of money.

IcFootballnews Verdict –

This Hammers side is good enough to be competing for the top is positions in the Premier League – it is a shock to see that they are not.

We do not know if the players believe that David Moyes is the right man – maybe they are not happy – but they are certainly not giving their full potential.

Signing a man that has done well in the Championship is not the right way to go – he will struggle to score goals in the Premier League and will not get them out of trouble.

It will be an interesting window for the Hammers fans that is for sure
