David Moyes wants PL Powerhouse for West Ham in January window

It has been claimed that WEST HAM are interested in signing Odsonne Edouard in the January transfer window.

Michail Antonio, who seemingly came close to leaving the Hammers in the summer transfer window, is very much the leading man in the final third under David Moyes.

Former Liverpool and Burnley man Danny Ings meanwhile is his reserve, with youngster Divin Mubama another option for the East London club, but David Moyes is keen to bolster that front-line in the coming windows

And according to Football Transfers, West Ham are interested in Edouard and are considering making an approach for him during the upcoming transfer window in the new year.

Edouard has already scored five goals from his opening 12 appearances this season and is looking like a player that is finally adapting to life in the Premier League and at the highest level.

FootballTransfers has been told that the deal could either be a loan or permanent, although there is no indication yet how much WEST HAM are prepared to spend on the forward.”

The January window will give Moyes the opportunity to add another striker to that attack – what they have at the moment will not get them into a European place – they need to invest.

Edouard is a very solid Premier League player that can score goals – but he has not been as prolific as many would like and that is why he may not be the best option to lead that Hammers attack.

But it will be interesting to see just what happens when the window opens up.
