Italian boss announces ‘he does not care’ if star leaves – West Ham interested in £60M deal
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti admits he doesn’t know if WEST HAM target Marco Asensio will be at the Spanish champion’s next season.
Asensio joined Real Madrid from Real Mallorca in 2014 and has taken in 250 appearances for the Blancos – scoring over 50 goals and collecting three La Liga titles and three Champions League crowns.
However – there has been alot of speculation about his future at the club and whether or not he is part of Carlo Ancelotti’s long-term plans – which has alerted a number of top-level clubs.
Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal and West Ham have all been linked with a move for the Spanish star and are all tipped to make an offer to Madrid in the summer for around the £60 million mark.

However, Asensio’s contract at the Santiago Bernabeu expires at the end of this season – and now Ancelotti has opened up and admitted that he doesn’t know if the midfielder will be staying at the club in the next transfer window.
“He looks good to me, so I don’t know if he stays or not,” said Ancelotti.
“Maybe he does, maybe he doesn’t. I don’t care much. We have some important challenges this season. The most important thing is that he contributes like last year.
“Let him continue as he is doing now. Then the club makes the most appropriate decision in the end.”
