West Ham have been given the green light to try and sign £120k-a-week winger!

WEST HAM United have been offered Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi – after the Blues pretty much confirmed he is leaving this summer,

Chelsea have already seen several high-profile players leave the club this summer. Kai Havertz, Mason Mount and Mateo Kovacic have all found new homes in the Premier League.

Kalidou Koulibaly, Edouard Mendy and N’Golo Kante have moved to the Saudi Pro League, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic have both joined AC Milan. Club captain Cesar Azpilicueta has left for Atletico Madrid.

Hudson-Odoi had failed to reach the heights that many expected and last summer – he was allowed to leave the club on loan for the season in hope of getting some much needed game time with Bayer Leverkusen

The winger – once valued at £60 million – made a number of starts for the German outfit – but once again failed to live upto the hype and the decision was made to not make the move a permanent now.

WHAT IS THE LATEST – 

West Ham have been credited with interest in the winger in previous weeks and with the club now making moves to get their transfer deals done, he has been linked with a move once more according to the Sun.

Chelsea released their squad numbers this week after another summer of spending and left three big names out without numbers, and they have been given a boost for the winger.

Callum Hudson-Odoi has not been given a number, with the No.20 he previously wore now taken by new signing Andrey Santos.

TIME TO MOVE ON FOR ODOI?

The lad had a big future once – but the money got to his head and his performances dropped off. He needs to reignite his career so a move away for him is the best thing.

WEST HAM would be a shock move to make for the lad as they seemingly are not interested in wingers – but for the right price – it would be interesting to see how he would handle the Premier League.
