Impressive striker has been tipped to complete move to West Ham

Alan Hutton has backed West Ham to complete a January move for Blackburn Rovers striker Ben Bereton Diaz
After scouring Europe for a new striker during the summer window – the Hammers decided that a move for Gianluca Scamacca would be ideal for the club – as he is a man that has a growing reputation in the game
However – he has not shone in the Premier League like many people had hoped for an has struggled to find the back of the net on a weekly basis – which has led to suggestions that the Hammers now want to sign the talented Diaz
Diaz is no in double figures so far this season to follow up last season’s tally of 22 across all competitions – and is fast becoming a player that a number of Premier League sides are interested in
And if you believe the words of Hutton – he would be a good member to have in the squad.
Speaking to Football Insider – He said: “I think every manager will tell you they want as many strikers as possible. Especially ones that can score goals so it does not surprise me. There has been interest before.
“I think he is probably ready now to take that next step.
“I think the likes of West Ham would be a good club for him. [Gianluca] Scamacca has come in and done well, [Michail] Antonio has had to be on the bench recently.
“I think you always want options especially in the Premier League. I think it would be a good buy if they can get him for the right money.
“He has proved himself in the Championship so it is time to go and have a crack at the big league and I am sure he is more than capable.”
