Fans to welcome Proven Premier League star after West Ham agree big deal
West Ham have agreed a deal for striker Danny Ings from Aston Villa, it has been claimed today
The Hamers board gave David Moyes a ton of funds to sign some players that he believed would help the club get to that next level and seriously challenge for a Europa League spot this season.
Some signings have been impressive – but some have not – and the inconsistent start to the Premier League season means that Moyes will still need to add some fresh faces to the squad in the next transfer window
Now – if you believe the reports on the Sky Sports website – Ings looks set to complete a move to West Ham this January after they agreed to pay Villa £15 million for the Englishman.
Ings moved to Villa from Southampton for £25m in 2021 but has not hit the same heights at Villa Park as he did at St Mary’s, scoring only 14 goals in 52 games for the Villans in all competitions.

Despite all the quality that West Ham have in that squad – they have really straggled for goals this season and signing a player like Ings could be a very good move.
He may not have adapted to the way that Villa like to play – but he is a proven striker that will score some goals – fans will just be hoping that it will be enough to get them back in the hunt for a European place.
This will be a very good addition to the Hammers squad though that is for sure.
