West Ham United have allegedly made a move to sign talented Juventus left-back Luca Pellegrini

Aaron Cresswell has been superb for The Hammers over the past eight years and is a real fans favourite – but last season he didnt look like the same impressive defender that he in the past

And that means that David Moyes has been scouring Europe for a player that would have the ability to come to the club and make an immediate impact on the side – and Pellegrini is seemingly that star

And according to Calcio Mercato The Hammers have contacted Juventus about a possible deal for Pellegrini s they look to fend off the interest of Fulham in order to win the race for the player

It has been claimed that he wold cost the club around £10 million to acquire and would be signing a contract wort around £70,000-a-week

Pellegrini has bags of pace – is a very solid defender and has the ability to drive forward and make chances for the attackers – so he could be a very good signing for the Hammers should they complete a deal

The money being talked about is not alot is it? And the fact that Cresswell needs some rest during the course of the season – would mean that the Hammers could get the very best out of the player

So if The Hammers do manage to officially sign Pellegrini like all the reports are suggesting – he will be a very fine addition to that West Ham side

The season is just around the corner so Moyes will be hoping that he manages to get some more signings done before the season officially starts in just a few weeks time
