West Ham board told they are taking massive gamble with David Moyes decision

Alan Hutton has claimed sticking with David Moyes is a “big gamble” for West Ham.

The WEST HAM boss has been at the helm at the London Stadium twice, with his second stint starting in December 2019. But there has been alot of speculation that this could be his final season at the club after a stuttering start to the season.

Moyes believes there are now so few opportunities for managers to have a break during the current football calendar and has cast doubt on bosses experiencing the kind of longevity he had at Everton.

The speculation surrounding his future has been the subject of intence rumours and now Hutton has come out and claimed that it is a massive gamble from the Hammers board to stick with Moyes. Hutton told Football Insider:

“I would like to see it happen.

“I think clubs nowadays are very quick to make a change and I understand why. At the end of the day it is a business, they ned to stay up in this league for financial reasons.

“David Moyes has done it before, he has got them out of this situation so I do not see why he can’t do it now.

“I would stick with him until the end of the season. I know for the hierarchy that might be a big gamble because they might drop out of the league but I think they have got enough.

“I think there is worse in there and I think they have got the players that can get them out of it and the manager.“
