Moyes told West Ham target ‘will end up in the Premier League’

Portugal and Benfica ace Goncalo Ramos “will end up in the Premier League”, former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson has told the likes of West Ham.

The January window has been open for a while now – But David Moyes has not really signed the players that he would have hoped too  – but there is still alot more time to get some deals done.

Ramos is a young man that has been catching the eye of the big teams over the past few weeks and is a player that earned huge praise at the World Cup for his performances when he replaced Cristiano Ronaldo.

Now – Eriksen expects Manchester United and West Ham to be looking at him – and has tipped the young man to make a move to the Premier League in the near future.

Speaking to OLBG, he said: “Goncalo Ramos is a fantastic player, it’s not easy to replace Cristiano Ronaldo like he did. He will end up in the Premier League like a lot of Portuguese players, he can adapt there.

“He’s a player destined for the Premier League because it’s the best league in the world and the best want to play there.”

West Ham made some big signings in the summer that did have big hopes for the season – but it has simply not worked out for David Moyes.

Gomes is a very good young striker that may have a bright future in the game – but at the end of the day – signing new players may not be enough for the club.

Something is not working and adding a few new players to the squad may not improve that.

Maybe a manager needs to come in before new signings?
