West Ham make moves to sign Spanish star from London rivals!

West Ham United are allegedly eyeing up a move to sign Tottenham Hotspur defender Sergio Reguilon

Reguilon had been a regular for Tottenham since joining from Real Madrid in 2020, making 67 appearances for the London club

But Antonio Conte has preferred Ryan Sessegnon in recent times and also added Ivan Perisic to the squad, meaning the Spaniard, who is returning from injury, is no longer in the frame.

That has led to all sorts of reports that he could head back to Spanish football – where the likes of Sevilla are reportedly interested in signing the player on loan – or on a more permanent basis

However- According to reports on 90Min – the Hammers and Nottingham Forest are both showing interest in signing the 25-year-old Tottenham ace.

Hammers boss David Moyes wants to bring the 25-year-old Tottenham star to the London Stadium this summer as he wants to add a bit more pace and depth to that area of the pitch

Reguilon is one of those players that can be brilliant one day – and then go missing for weeks at a time – so it is easy to see why Conte is open to selling the player

It has been a shock to see that the Hammers are linked with a move for the man – especially as West Ham and Tottenham do not do business with each other

So even though we can see Reguilon leaving Spurs – we cannot see him departing the club for London Stadium – it will be for Forest or a move back to Spanish football.

Could have been a good signing though
