West Ham target’s future decided – Hammers told £45M to sign star – Board working on deal for £50M ace

Here is a roundup of the top West Ham news and gossip from icfootballnews that we think you guys may have missed –
West Ham target Scott McTominay’s future at Manchester United has been decided, reports suggest.
WEST HAM spent some serious money in the summer transfer window signing players that they believe could propel them into a Champions League challenging position.
David Moyes has seen his new additions make an instant impact at the side – and the Hammers are well up their in the Premier League, a far cry from the awful start to last season that they had.
McTominay was up for sale during the summer, with the likes of WEST HAM and Newcastle interested in the Scottish international, but a transfer, which could have seen McTominay move for up to £50million, failed to materialise.
The 26-year-old had fallen down the pecking order under Erik ten Hag and has struggled to make much of an impact on the side this season, although his super sub performance against Brentford, when he scored two injury time goals to hand United victory, his importance to the team has once again been realized.
And reports now report Ten Hag has ruled out the possibility of a January transfer.
SHOULD WEST HAM PAY £45 MILLION FOR THE MIDFIELDER?
HELL NO!
The club need to add players to the side that will make a difference – and although McTominay is a very solid player – he will not make much of a difference.
So, they need to walk away from signing the Man United midfielder this coming transfer as that is crazy money – so the news that he is staying at Man United will surely come as a blessing in disguise for the fans that dont want to see the midfielder make the move to the club.
PHILLIPE PRICE SET –
WEST HAM could reignite their interest in Man City midfielder Kalvin Phillips during the January transfer window.
At Leeds – Phillips established himself as one of the best holding midfielders in the Premier League – and that prompted Man City boss Pep Guardiola to take him to the Etihad.

Will Phillips leave Man City?
However – the move has not quite worked out and he has struggled to make an impact -with a number of injuries keeping him on the sidelines more often that he would have hoped for.
That has led to stunning reports in the media that West Ham were eyeing up a stunning deal for the midfielder – especially as they were seeking a replacement for the much talked about Declan Rice.
However – a move never happened and in the end David Moyes opted to bring in alternative additions to the squad, who have settled into life in London very nicely and have started the new season in brilliant fashion.
However – recent reports have claimed that West Ham could reignite their interest in Phillips during the summer window as Man City will once again be open to letting the Englishman depart the club.
And the reports claim that Man City are keen to recoup their investment on the midfielder, and will allow him to leave for around £30 million

The Hammers have had a brilliant start to the new Premier League season, but they need players that have experience at the top level that could bring something extra to the side, and Phillips could be that man.
He has flopped at Man City, but he is still a quality player that could thrive in that WEST HAM midfield. So if the price is right, David Moyes should push for a deal.
CHELSEA BOARD WORKING ON GALLAGHER DEAL –
It has been claimed that Chelsea are now ready to step up their efforts to sign up West Ham target Conor Gallagher.
Gallegher had been in the transfer headlines alot this summer as it was believed that CHELSEA would have allowed him to depart the club if the right offer was made.
That has led to constant speculation in the media that WEST HAM are very keen to try and get a deal done for the midfielder – and even made an offer of £40 million, which was rejected by the Blues as they were seeking closer to £50 million for Gallagher.

He has featured in the opening weeks of the season for Mauricio Pochettino and is beginning to look like the player that many tipped to become a world class act just a few seasons ago.
WHAT IS THE LATEST –
According to 90 Min, Chelsea are ready to step up their efforts to keep Conor Gallagher and offer him a new contract.
The report says that Gallagher has been a mainstay of Pochettino’s midfield and has even donned the captain’s armband and the Blues are now expected to open talks over a new deal.

There is no doubt that Gallagher is a talented midfielder that could shine under Pochettino – so if the boss wants him at CHELSEA – stay. Especially as there is a place for him in the side.
There has been so much speculation about his future for seasons now, so this new deal will kind of end the immediate speculation surrounding his future and keep him settled.
However – he needs to keep on performing for Chelsea and putting in the good performances because the Blues are constantly signing new players, so he will be tested on a regular basis.
But so far this season, he has not looked that impressive and WEST HAM could be wasting their money if they pursue this star.
