West Ham technical director Tim Steidten to pull off signing or brilliant Bundesliga star?
It has been claimed that West Ham are all set to win the race for Bayer Leverkusen star Victor Boniface.
Chelsea are a club that like to spend money – they like to sign players that could develop into world class stars and like to sign talents that are already having an impact on world football.
But it is no secret that Chelsea are in dire need of adding a new striker to that front-line – they have been lacking goals this season – and there has been some big names already linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
But they have also been linked with a move for Boniface – who has been impressing over in the Bundesliga this season and is a player that the Chelsea board have really been impressed with.
However – WEST HAM are prepared to break their transfer record to sign Bayer Leverkusen star Victor Boniface.
Hammers’ technical director Tim Steidten is pushing for the massive swoop and could pull it off before the window shuts.
The reports add that Steidten is trying to set up a deal with his former club Leverkusen. West Ham have the cash for a splash and manager David Moyes is behind the idea of going big for a proven striker.

A few seasons ago – top players would not have been tempted by a move to the Hammers – but that has changed in recent years and it would be a very smart move for Boniface to join WEST HAM
He would get regular game time – he would get the time to adjust to the Premier League and hwe would be joining a side that is going places. As i said – it could be a very good move for the man to make.
It will be interesting to see if the Hammers can get this deal done.
