West Ham all clear to complete £25M signing after stars confirmed exit
Arthur Masuaku’s exit will pave the way for West Ham to sign Maxwel Cornet from Burnley – according to former Everton striker Kevin Campbell
Fans have been very happy with the signings that he has made – especially Gianluca Scamacca – who arrived at the club after an impressive season in Seria A after netting 16 goals
Now it seems that West Ham are looking to complete the transfer signing of Max Cornet from Burnley – in a deal that could cost the Hammer £25 million
West Ham confirmed Masuaku has left the club and joined Besiktas on a on a season-long loan, with a view to making the deal permanent in the summer of next year – and it has been claimed that they will not have a free run to try and sign Cornet
When asked by Football Insider for his thoughts on Cornet potentially replacing Masuaku, Campbell said: “It would be a like for like.
“Masuaku has done a job every time he has come in. He has done ok.
“He has not been a regular starter though. It gets to the point where you want to play. At Besiktas, he will play.
“I’m sure he would go with West Ham fans blessing.
“David Moyes is clearly in the market for a left-sided player. If a [Filip] Kostic or Cornet comes in you have cover. That would be a like for like replacement.
“West Ham have been so consistent. Players on the periphery don’t get much game time. The first XI have been so consistent.”

West Ham have big ambitions and Cornet has already proven that he is more than capable of competing against the very best in the Premier League
So, it will be very interesting to see if they manage to complete this transfer deal
