£30.5 million powerhouse expected to seal West Ham transfer deal in summer

WEST HAM United star Gianluca Scamacca will not be ‘short of suitors’ and is expected to seal his London Stadium exit in the summer,

Scamacca signed for West Ham last summer from Sassuolo in a deal worth an initial £30.5million. After playing regularly earlier in the season, Scamacca’s progress was halted by a knee injury and he has been an unused substitute for a number of games.

So far this season Scamacca has scored seven goals in 25 appearances for West Ham across all competitions – but after the signing of Danny Ings, he may struggle to get the game time that he desires.

Reports suggest AC Milan are long-term admirers of the striker and could offer a route back to his homeland less than 12 months – and if you believe the words of Daily Express journalist Ryan Taylor – he will have options

He told GIVEMESPORT:  “I feel like it would be quite easy for him to potentially leave because I don’t think he’ll be short of suitors.

“Obviously, PSG were sniffing around and top Italian clubs would definitely take him. I don’t think his value would have decreased too much.

“I’m interested to see how it works out. If I had to make a call on that, I’d say that I would expect him to leave.”

Should West Ham sell Scamacca?

Scamacca was rated as one of the best young strikers in Seria A and it was easy to see why West Ham made their moves – he has all the attributes to be a 20-plus goal scorer in the English game.

But the fact a number of players at WEST HAM have flopped this season, their most creative have gone missing, it is easy to see why he has struggled.

We can see him making a move to AC Milan in the summer – but the Hammers should stick with the man, give him another season because they will be alot better than this Premier League campaign.
