Ziyech had an amazing season last year for the Dutch Champions and netted and helped Ajax reclaim their Dutch title, while also reaching the Champions League semi-finals, only to lose to a Tottenham side that was in form.
He also netted 16 goals and added a further 13 assists in 29-League games for Ajax and will come into the Chelsea side to add some much needed creativity to Lampards side, sand the Chelsea boss took to Social Media about his new signing.

Bayern Munich defender David Alaba has dropped a transfer hint, amid speculation that Chelsea are lining up a big summer move to try and complete a deal.
Lampard knows that he needs to improve the side if he wants to get back inside the top four and then push on to challenge for a Premier League title and Champions League crown.
And one area of concern for the Blues is the defence, as it is not good enough to challenge the big boys in Europe, so Lampard is reportedly keen to sort that issues out with the possible signing of Alaba, who is regarded as one of the best left-backs in the game right now.
Alaba has 18 months left on his current deal with the German giants, but there has been a few issues with his contract talks and speculation has risen over the past few months that he is seeking a way out of the club after ten years of service with Bayer.
And with the transfer window still a few months away, Alaba has spoken about a possible move to the Premier League, and has also admitted that he can imagine himself playing somehwere else other than the Bundesliga, telling THE TIMES: “We’ll see,”
“I know the Premier League very well because I followed it a lot when I was younger.
“I supported Arsenal. Patrick Vieira was one of my favourite players. At the moment I don’t think too much about it, but I can imagine playing somewhere else.”
There has been some great news for Chelsea fans over the past few days involving Hakim Ziyech, Philippe Coutinho and Willian.
The summer transfer window may be a few months away and there is still alot of games to play for the Blues before they can continues their summer of spending, but that has not stopped all the transfer speculation and rumours over the past few days.
Chelsea have already signed winger Ziyech from Ajax in a deal worth £36 million million, but there is some big news regarding Coutinho to Chelsea and the future of Willian, watch the video below for all the big news.
Frank Lampard admits Willian and Pedro are in talks over their Chelsea future following Hakim Ziyech’s arrival.
Chelsea managed to secure an early summer deal for the very impressive Ziyech last week, and the Ajax winger will make his arrival at the club when the summer transfer window opens up after the £37 million deal was officially wrapped up.
And there has been some big speculation that Chelsea will look to add another winger to the side at the end of the season, with the likes of Jadon Sancho and Jeremie Boga on the shopping list of Frank Lampard, who will reportedly have around £150 million to spend on new players.
Those signings would join make up half of the Blues’ widemen contingent next season alongside Christian Pulisic and Callum Hudson-Odoi, with £100k-plus-a-week Willian and Pedro left in the cold, as reports suggest that Chelsea will allow the Spaniard and Brazilian to pack their bags and depart the club.
But despite all the transfer speculation and the fact that Ziyech will be arriving, Lampard has come out and admitted that the Chelsea hierarchy are in talks with both Pedro and Willian about possible new deals at the club, he told the Daily Express: “Conversations are ongoing with those players. They have both been successful players with the club.
“Both I found to be very professional and willing and wanting to work this year and help the younger players.
“And obviously get results which is the main thing. So regardless [of whether they stay], what they’ve done at the club is very well received from our end.”
Chelsea target Odsonne Edouard has distanced himself from leaving Celtic during the summer transfer window.
Now we all know that the January transfer window is now shut, and we also know that Chelsea failed to do any transfer business that would help Frank Lampard improve the side and help take the club back to the top by the end of the season.
But there is a feeling that Lampard will improve the squad in the summer with a few top-class additions, as reports have suggested that he will have around £150 million in the kitty to improve his side in all the key areas of the squad that actually need working on.
And reports have also claimed that he is keen to add a striker to the side, especially as Olivier Giroud looks all but certain to leave the club after failing to get his switch away during the January transfer window, simply because the Blues failed to land the striker they needed.
Edouard, 22, is enjoying a purple patch of form right now, and has hit over 20-goals this season for the Scottish Champions, with his form reportedly impressing Frank Lampard enough to line up a possible summer move to try and secure a transfer deal.
The Bhoys would want at least £30million for the French forward, who has a contract until the summer of 2022, but Edouard has come out and admitted that he is flattered to be linked with a move to the likes of Chelsea, but is concentrating on his time at Celtic right now.
Edouard told Radio Clyde: “It’s very flattering but I still have two years left on my contract at Celtic, I want to concentrate on that.
Look, Edoouard has had a brilliant season for Celtic this year and is ready to make the move to the Premier League, for the right price of course. But maybe he is not ready to make that step and play for a big club like Chelsea?
Chelsea need to spend money so it will be very interesting to see just whom Frank Lampard managed to acquire when the long transfer window opens up.
