Emery delighted as exciting star officially admits Arsenal deal for Willock is done and dusted!

Joe Willock has signed a new long-term contract with Arsenal.

Willock, who made his debut in September 2017 in a League Cup game against Doncaster, started Arsenal’s first three Premier League games this season and his performances for the club have led to Unai Emeru nailing him down to a nice big contract.

Emery is a massive fan of the young man and firmly believes that he can become an integral part of the Gunners side over the next five years, and he has admitted just how happy he is after seeing the youngster signing the new contract with Arsenal.

‘Joe has progressed a lot in the last year,” Unai Emery said on the Arsenal website.

“He is technically strong and has shown the confidence to take responsibility and play his game whatever the occasion or opposition.

“I’m looking forward to working with to help him develop further and fulfil his potential.”

The news that he has signed a new contract is fantastic for the young man and many will be very happy to see that he has officially signed a new contract at the Emirates.

And now many will be hoping that he fully develops and turns into the type of player that many hope he will become.
