World Cup winner announces Liverpool is where he wants to be!

Alexis Mac Allister hasn’t entertained talk of a Liverpool exit, despite reports of Real Madrid interest.

Now tat Jurgen Klopp has officially left the club and handed over the reigns to Arne Slot – there has already been alot of transfer speculation coming out of the club with players that could go and stars that could leave.

Mac Aliister is a player that has thrived in his first season at LIVERPOOL after joining from Brighton, growing into a midfield role in the second half of the campaign and becoming a big players for Klopp.

But his performances this season and the departure of Klopp has has prompted speculation over the former Seagulls star, particularly with Madrid looking to replace the soon-to-retire Toni Kroos.

Kroos has decided to hang up his boots after this season after a trophy-laiden career 0 and it is believed that Madrid see Mac Allister as the ideal player to come in and replace the great German.

However – Mac Allister was having none of it and has dropped a huge transfer hint tat he has no intention of leaving Liverpool: “I’m not talking about assumptions, I’m very happy in Liverpool,” he told ESPN Argentina (via 90min).

There are a number of players at Liverpool that were signed by Klopp -that stayed at LIVERPOOL because of the German boss – so it is easy to see why there is alot of transfer speculation regarding a number of players.

So seeing Mac Allister come out and state that he is happy is massive – as Arne Slot will need to keep his best players at the club to be a success.
