Manchester United bid accepted for brilliant £42million star
Manchester United have reportedly received a major boost in their bid to sign Leny Yoro from French giants Lille.
Yoro made 32 appearances in the French top flight last season, scoring twice and keeping 15 clean sheets as Lille finished fourth, and established himself as one of the most promising young centre-backs in European football
Manchester United have lost the experienced Rafa Varane this summer after he decided that he would not be agreeing a new contract at Old Trafford – meaning Erik Ten Hag will need to sign an immediate replacement.
According to Sky Sports, a £42million bid has been agreed in principle with Lille for the teenager to join the Red Devils, as the French giants are ready to cash in on Yoro, 18, ahead of his contract expiring next year.
Reports in Spain insist that the player would prefer to sign for Real Madrid and they are happy to either negotiate a fee with Lille now or wait until 2025 and bring him over as a free agent, which is why Man United have not been able to seal a deal for the defender.

Yoro is a brilliant talent – but if Madrid really wants the lad and the defender wants to make the move to La Liga – then Manchester United should stay away from a possible deal as the lads heart will not be in Manchester.
The Red Devils may want the lad but it seems he wants Madrid – and we would be very surprised to see him make the move to Manchester as his heart will just not be in the move 100 per cent.
