Wilfred’s brother sends massive message to Arsenal fans after Emery makes move to complete deal
Wilfried Zaha’s brother Judicael has opened up and admitted that the Crystal Palace winger wants to make the move to Arsenal, after a bid was made.
After a few years as a Manchester United winger, Zaha returned to Palace and reinvented his career to become one of the most exciting and attacking players in the Premier League.
His performances for Palace over the past few seasons have led to the likes of Liverpool, United, Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain showing an interest in the forward, who scored 10 goals last season.
But it seems that Arsenal are leading the chase for the star, with reports suggesting that Unai Emery is desperate to add the much sought after attacker to his squad and has lodged a reported bid of around £40 million.
And amid all the transfer speculation, his brother has claimed that Zaha does indeed want a move to join Arsenal
He told Sky Sports News: “Wilfried will always hold Crystal Palace and their fans in the highest regard and all the support they have given means the world to him.
“It’s my brother’s dream, though, to play for Arsenal. Given all that Wilfried has given to Crystal Palace to help them remain a Premier League club, I hope Palace will be able to see their way to agreeing a deal with Arsenal that allows Wilfried to realise his dream of playing European football for the club he has supported since childhood.”
Zaha is arguably one of the best wingers in the Premier League and brings so much more than excitement to the Palace side. So it was a massive surprise to see him sign a new five-year deal at the club as he is clearly ready for that next step.
Arsenal or United would be a great move for him, as they are in need of an attacking, exciting and skilful wingers to come in and give a different dimension to the side, especially as the Gunners need to add some more width to the squad in the coming transfer windows.
Zaha is now ready for that big step at the top-level and needs to make the right move, or it will just be another United all over again and he will fail to fulfil the clear potential that he has.
