Arteta told £70 million target ‘is playing for a Transfer’ and Arsenal should complete transfer deal

Long-term Arsenal target Wilfried Zaha is playing for a transfer, This is according to Tony Cascarino.

Zaha is easily regarded as one of the most creative players in the Premier League and has really developed into a top-class winger since his move back to Palace from Manchester United a few years ago.

Zaha ran riot at Old Trafford as Palace beat Man United 3-1, scoring a penalty and also powering a brilliant strike past David de Gea to wrap up the win, and he’s been accused of playing so well simply to put himself in the shop window ahead of October’s transfer deadline.

He told the TalkSport website: “Wilf is playing like he really has to show the world, before the transfer window ends, just how good of a player he can be, and maybe persuade someone to pay that extra charge on his fee to go and get him.

“I do wonder how Wilf will be after the window ends.

“Roy Hodgson managed him brilliantly last year after his head got turned. Wilf thought he was going to Everton and it didn’t happen, and he didn’t start to get going again. But once he did Roy Hodgson has to take a lot of credit for that.

“Handling players is difficult once they desire to leave.

Look, Zaha should be playing at a club like Arsenal and although they may not need him right now, he would be a much better option to have in the side than the inconsistent Nicolas Pepe, who was supposed to be a brilliant signing for the club.

We believe that Zaha would fit this Arsenal side, but it is just a shame that the Gunners wont pay that massive £70 million to get a deal done.

He would offer the club something different and would be a great signing for Arsenal
