Ziyech makes Chelsea admission, Abraham excited, Gallagher to get move, Chelsea to make Aubameyang move in Chelsea news roundup…

Conor Gallagher should head out on loan once again next season in his push towards the Chelsea first-team.

Gallagher’s solid performances at the Championship clubs in his first full campaign at senior level has raised speculation he could make it into Frank Lampard’s squad at Stamford Bridge in 2020/21.

Lampard has been handing the talented players a real chance at becoming a regular Chelsea player since he arrived last season and has already brought through a number of talented players like Mason Mount, Tammy ABraham, Fikayo Tomori and Reece James.

However, Keith Andrews feels the 20-year-old would benefit from another year of experience away from SW6, and then come back and try to challenge for a regular Chelsea spot.

Andrews told Sky: “When you look at it, 12 months ago at Chelsea this wouldn’t have even been a discussion, it would have been either he goes back on loan again or they sell him for a decent profit. I think now is a different scenario with Frank Lampard in charge.

“But those issues, the fact that there is a bit of competition in there.

“The other thing I would say is that he is still very, very young. I don’t see him going back there next season.

“I see him going back on loan because of his age. We talked about Ben White earlier, 22 years of age, the development he has had, the steps that he has had to take to get to this level, he is still 20, Conor Gallagher.”

Fresh reports have again claimed Chelsea could make a move for Arsenal star Pierr-Emerick Aubameyang, as they seem to be missing out on Dries Mertens.

Chelsea may have one of the most exciting young sides in the Premier League and many people may be excited about the future of the club, but there is a need for Frank Lampard to spend some serious money and land a world class forward.

Tammy Abraham has been decent this season, but he needs back-up next year if Chelsea are to get back inside the top four spots and challenge for that Premier League title, and there has been some big names linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.

Reports all suggested that Chelsea were interested in trying to sign Dries Mertens from Napoli in the summer, as he will be available for free, but he seems to be staying at Milan and is reportedly close to agreeing a contract with the Italians.

Now there has been some shock reports on the Daily Star, which have claimed Chelsea have reportedly joined Manchester United and Real Madrid in the race to snare Arsenal contract rebel Aubameyang away from the Emirates.

Chelsea eyeing up a £50million swoop for the Gabon international as he nears the end of his contract in North London, and after selling Olivier Giroud to the Blues that same month, it has been reported that Chelsea are set to raid Arsenal once again.

According to the reports, Arsenal’s preference would be to keep hold of the Gabon star and get him to sign a new contract, but if negotiations cannot be met, then they will start contacting prospective clubs at the end of the season about a possible deal, starting with Madrid.

Look, if Aubameyang stays at the Arsenal, it will be great news for the club as they simply cannot afford to lose the guy, but it would be a massive shock to see him arrive at the likes of Chelsea.

Ajax winger Hakim Ziyech has opened up and revealed a major reason for joining Chelsea this summer window.

Ziyech is regarded as one of the most creative and exciting players in Europe right now and has been one of the main reasons why Ajax have been so successful both domestically and in Europe over the past few seasons.

The 26-year-old will make the move Stamford Bridge in the summer after his £37million move from Ajax was agreed earlier this year, which has got many Chelsea fans excited to see just what he will bring to the club next season.

He will surely be the immediate replacement for the departing Willian, who is leaving the club after failing to agree a new contract at the club, and will also add some superstar quality to this Chelsea midfield.

There was alot of interest in his services during the January transfer window, but it was Chelsea who completed a transfer deal and now Ziyech has cited Frank Lampard’s philosophy as crucial behind his decision to join Chelsea.

“Chelsea is a beautiful club, a huge club,” Ziyech told NOS. “The football that they play attracts me, and the manager wants to play attacking football.

“And just like here [Ajax], they like to use the talent that walks around in their club now.”

Striker Tammy Abraham “can’t wait” to link up with new signing Hakim Ziyech at Chelsea.

Chelsea may have been linked with some big players during the winter transfer window in January, and fans may have not seen the signings that many would have liked, but soon into February Chelsea made the shock move to complete a deal for Ziyech.

And upn his impending arrival, Abraham has opened up and revealed that he cannot wait to get playing alongside the Moroccan, In a video broadcast to the Ajax star on Dutch station NOS Sport, Abraham said: “Hi Hakim, it’s Tammy here.

“I just want to wish you all the best for the rest of the season.

“Can’t wait for you to come and join us. You know I’m ready, man.

“Can’t wait to see you, bro. Take care.”

Chelsea are leading the chase for highly-rated Dutch teen Xavier Mbuyamba from Barcelona, his agent has claimed.

The football has been stopped until further notice, meaning that there is alot of transfer speculation in the media about whom Chelsea could try and sign during the summer window in order to help improve on their side.

They have been linked with some big names over the past few weeks, and Chelsea fans are hoping for some big time players to arrive, but the Blues will also be keeping an eye out for some of the best talents in the game.

And according to the agent of the 18-year-old centre-half Mbuyamba, who has been compared to a young Virgil van Dijk, Chelsea are leading the chase to complete a potential deal in the coming windows.

Mbuyamba moved to the Nou Camp last summer from MVV Maastricht in his homeland but his representative confirmed he is already looking to continue his development.

“Almost all major clubs in Europe have asked about Xavier,” Barros told Voetbal International.

“Real Madrid are also there, they are serious about their youth system, but that would of course be a sensitive switch.

“Juventus and Inter are interested, as are top clubs from Germany and England. Chelsea have the best papers. Of course we discussed this extensively last year.

“Chelsea gave a fantastic presentation. There is a unique football atmosphere there. You immediately sit with the first-team players during lunch and the club has outlined a very ambitious plan for Xavier.

“They really think that in one to two years, he can be in the first team. Frank Lampard has of course already proven that he is not afraid to play with young players. Being in the starting line-up at Chelsea at the age of 20 would, of course, be great.”

The lad is certainly very talented and if he feels that a move to Chelsea would be the best thing for his career, then fans would welcome him with open arms.
