Forward arrives to complete medical – shock Chelsea announcement on way
It has been claimed that Chelsea star Hakim Ziyech has arrived in Paris to complete his move to the French Giants
Ziyech is easily one of the most gifted wingers that Chelsea have right now and can be world class on his day – but he cant break into that starting eleven on a weekly basis.
His performances have not been great this season and he is certainly a player that Graham Potter will not miss should he depart the club – which is why there has been so much speculation about the man over the past few weeks.
But the winger was amazing at the World Cup and helped his side reach the Semi-Finals in Qatar – which has alerted a whole host of clubs to a possible transfer deal, including PSG.
His game-time will only suffer more following the January arrival of Ukraine international Mykhailo Mudryk, who completed a £89m move from Shakhtar Donetsk. And Ziyech admitted during the World Cup that he could leave Chelsea in January.
Paris Saint-Germain’s search for an attacking option following Pablo Sarabia’s move to Wolves seems to have come to an end as they are close to completing the signing of Hakim Ziyech, who has landed in Paris for his medicals according to Le Parisien.
PSG sporting director wants to discuss a loan deal for the Moroccan, whose contract with Chelsea expires in 2025.
He had a very good World Cup and fans have wondered why those performances have been in that Chelsea shirt – so rather than losing him for nothing the Blues should at least get something.
Chelsea need to make some money back after spending so much cash this transfer window – and letting him go is perfect.
Ziyech is done at Chelsea, so make the move to a massive club like PSG while he can.
