Legend Zola announces he wants £36 million Liverpool target Hudson-Odoi to be at Chelsea this month!

Chelsea assistant boss Gianfranco Zola hopes Callum Hudson-Odoi will stay at the club, amid Bayern Munich and Liverpool speculation.

Hudson-Odoi is now considered one of the most esciting talents in world football and Chelsea do have big hoped for his future, but there has been alot of transfer talk that German Champions Bayern are desperate to sea a deal and have offered arund £36 million to try and secure a deal.

Liverpool are also in the hunt to try and secure a move for Odoi, with reports the Reds have approached Chelsea about a possible move this January, which was swiftly rehjected by the Blues.

But after Hudson-Odoi scored as the FA Cup holders advanced with a 3-0 fourth-round win over Sheffield Wednesday at Stamford Bridge, Zola hopes that wont he his last goal for the club, telling the Sky Sports website: “We want him to stay as well, we were singing too.

“He has a contract. We believe in what he can do for this team. I don’t think there are many 18-year-old players around Europe that are are playing as much as him in a big team.

“If you look at Juventus, all the big teams, they don’t have many 18-year-old players playing like we do. That shows that we believe in him, we think he can be an important player for us, so we will see what happens.

“We can do as much as we can do. From our point of view he has a lot of strong players next to him. But we still find the space for him to play.

“Did he look like he didn’t want to play? Yesterday in training he scored a fantastic goal.”

Should Hudson-Odoi stay at the club?

Hudson-Odoi is a great talent and although he wants that move to Bayern, he should stay put for now as he will get the opportunites to impress under Maurizio Sarri.

A move to Bayern will not guarantee him game time, it could actually ruin his career.
